The yacht bounced slightly on the mild waves of the ocean as the man looked out at setting sun. He slowly brought the vehicle to a stop, stepping out onto the deck, his eyes seeming to sparkle with love as his gaze rested on his girlfriend and hopefully soon the be wife. Slowly he sat on his chair, directly opposite her. Jace removed his glasses, smiling as he did so; there wasn't much need for them now that the sun was taking its leave. "So, have any fun games we can play?" Her voice was a pleasant addition to the slow crashing waves. He raised an eyebrow, "If fun is what you want, I can give you fun," he winked at her. She giggled slightly as he continued, "Although if you do want to play a proper game, there is a monopoly set inside, I could grab it if you want me to Annalyn?" She nodded in reply, watching him slide out of his seat and inside, returning soon after with a box in his hand. An hour or so later, after loads of laughing and domination within game, Annalyn landed on the most expensive spot accompanied with a lovely red hotel. "Yelp, I don't think I can pay this one off, I guess that's game for you", she looked up at him, smiling happily. He shook his head this time, "There's one way you can pay it off." Jace once again got out of his seat, reaching into his jacket's pocket and pulling out a small box. He walked in front of her, getting on one knee as he pointed and opened the box in her direction, "Will you, Annalyn, marry me? Oh and also pay off your debt in the game?" Her mouth opened in shock, a tears filling her eyes as she thought of the idea of being connected to him. She grinned whilst whispering, "Yes." As soon as she did, he took her left hand, slipping the ring onto her ring finger and moved in for a hug although she was willing for mouth; she pulled him closer for a kiss. It was his turn to be shocked as his eyes widened, closing slowly as the kiss extended. What lasted roughly a minute felt like hours, years even. Neither wanted to separate nor did they have to. He picked her up, wrapping his arms around her back as she clung onto him, walking into the bedroom.

The night went past fast, the couple waking up as the sun was half way up, the usually blue sky being blanketed by orange. Jace hugged onto her body which was covered simply by the duvet, pecking her on the lips as he said soothingly, "I'll make breakfast, meet me outside in 10." She nodded in reply, returning his peck with a kiss of her own. He got up, picking his clothes up from the bedside and putting them on as he walked into the kitchen preparing the food. A few minutes later, he walked outside with a tray containing two big plates, cups and water. Jace positioned them on the table, going back inside to fetch the rest of the food, leaving Annalyn to ponder at what he could've possibly cooked up that would require the big plates. He returned soon after with an even bigger tray, this one having a bowl of chopped up hot dogs, a plate containing multiple eggs both boiled and scrambled, a neat stack of toasted bread and two bowls, one containing beans the other sweet corn. He added these to the table, bringing back the tray and coming back out simply with two pairs of forks and knives. She gasped in shock at the amount of food he prepared, "This looks lovely." They both started their feast, small talking in-between bites. Once finished, Jace quickly piled up all the plates and bowls, bringing them into the kitchen to place into the sink, and start cleaning. Annalyn's voice came from the bedroom, "I'm going to have a dip in the sea, if you can, join me when you're finished." He smiled to himself, speeding up the washing of the dishes. He finished soon after, dropping down the rope ladder so they had a way back onto the boat before going to wear his swimming trunks. He threw himself head first into the water, opening his eyes as soon as he broke the surface. It was an amazing view, tropical fish swimming around, the multicoloured coral dotted everywhere. His view was blocked by something even better looking, Annalyn. He hugged onto her, swimming up along with her as he breathed in air. He said in between breaths, "There you are, I thought I lost you for a second." She giggled at him, pulling him in for a kiss before whispering, "You'll lose me if you can't catch me!" She dived back down, swimming away from him, a few bubbles indicating where she was. Jace grinned after her, following short after. As he opened his eyes under the water, he caught glimpse of her kicking away, trying to get as far as possible to pose a challenge. He soon began his own swimming, hot on the trail. Soon after, he caught onto her ankle, pulling her towards him and up to the surface, "Gotcha." She smiled up at him, a wave covering them both momentarily. "I think it's time to get back in, don't you?" He held onto her, kicking his legs slightly to bring them towards the boat.

It didn't take them long to get to the boat, pulling each other up the rope woven ladder which hang loosely off the side. They dropped over each other, hugging once again as Annalyn snuggled into him, quietly saying, "I love you," only to be responded by Jace saying, "I love you more." They continued for a few minutes before bursting into laughter and slowly peeling away. "Ok, you made breakfast so I'll make dinner, deal?" Her voice was cheerful, Jace nodding at her, "Alright, I'm going to have a shower, want to join me?" It was her turn to nod this time, walking towards their bedroom of which had a connecting bathroom.

Soon after their bath, they separated out, Annalyn to the kitchen and Jace to clean up as well as prepare the deck for the oncoming meal. He looked up at the sky, it was getting dark quicker than it had yesterday, may he could pull something off, something that she'd enjoy. The table had already been cleaned prior but he still felt the need to wipe it again, just in case some dirt had formed on it. He added a candle-holder to the middle of the table; it was shaped like a trident, each slot having a long, red candle. The table itself was covered by a thin, black cloth, small splotches of light shining from the candles. Jace thought to himself about where he kept his champagne, he hadn't taken out a bottle in years, it was time to treat not only treat himself but also Annalyn. Under the bed in a secret compartment was where the drink was located, an aged delicacy. He blew on the label, revealing the worn out writing of 'Bordeaux Champagne'. The sides of his lips curled into a smile as he also took two glasses, each on a stem of glass, the bottom rounded and the top curved into the shape of a cup. Setting this up wasn't hard, he simply slipped the champagne into a clean bucket, filling it up half way with water before adding ice, lucky for him he has an outside freezer. He hid the champagne and glasses under the table under a red, velvet cloth and sat, waiting for the food.

Food was served not too long after. A bowl of salad sat beside the candles, on either side of the table a plate. The plates had the same contents, multiple boiled potatoes, an eight ounce steak, and an assortment of vegetables ranging from carrots to broccoli. Jace smiled at his wife, "This looks like it'll taste absolutely splendid!" She nodded her head in reply, cutting into her food before bringing it up to her lips, parting them as she bit into the meat. Their meals were finished in half an hour of chat induced eating. "T'was a lovely meal, but now it's time for a surprise, come here," he motioned towards the bow of the boat, picking up the glasses and champagne as he wrapped them in the velvet, making his own way there. He stood for a few seconds, watching her walk to him, her face puzzled. Slowly, he freed the drink and glasses from the cloth, spreading the velvet out on the elevated platform which was originally made to allow seating. He put the glasses on top of the material, turning around to Annalyn, "Have you ever popped open a champagne bottle?" She shook her head at the question, "I-I've wanted to but never had the chance." Jace smiled at her, pulling her towards him by softly placing his right thumb and index finger on her chin, guiding her for a kiss before whispering, "Well here's your chance." He handed it over to her, waiting for her reaction, "I don't know how to do it," her face seemed to sadden. His own eyes widened, "Oh no, don't be sad. Here, I'll tell you what to do. First remove the foil and twist the metal loop, take the metal cage completely off," she followed the steps, being left only with the cork. He nodded in approval, continuing his instructions, "Now shake the bottle and slowly begin turning the bottle back and forth with your right hand while holding the cork steady with your left. Continue to turn more and increase the distance between your hands, as the cork turns," he watches as she does so, "now point it away and push the last few centimetres." As Annalyn does so, the cork goes flying, the liquid starting to bubble out of the nozzle. Jace quickly picks up both the glasses, bringing them under the torrent of champagne, making sure none of it misses as she first yelps in surprise, then tilting it upwards to stop it once both cups are full.  "That was amazing!" Annalyn shouts happily, putting the bottle down and taking her cup from her lover, continuing, "I've truly been missing out." He smiles at her whilst touching the rim of his glass to hers, "To happiness." She repeats his words, drinking out of the glass simultaneous to his. Jace looks at her, "You do know," he takes a sip, "we will need to finish this entire bottle toda- tonight. The cork went flying off so get ready to drink up!" He finishes his drink, pouring some more for himself and topping off Annalyn's glass, smiling at her under the gleaming stars.

A light comes from the sky, arcing across whilst the tip glows brightly. This attracts both their attentions, Jace saying lightly, "A shooting star, make a wish." He looks back to her, sipping his drink. Once she seems to make up her mind, he asks, "What'd you wish for?" Annalyn shook her head, "You first." He nodded, knowing she wouldn't give in unless he said his first, "I didn't need to wish, I have everything I could ever want, even wish for right here with me. He put his cup down, moving closer to her. Both their cheeks were flushed due to the alcohol as he hugged her, giving her only a slight second to place a drink down as he kisses her, dipping her backwards. Her eyes were watery with tears, making Jace worry and ask, "What's wrong?" She shook her head, "Nothing, this is all perfect, it's the best night of my life," the tears stared to flow. Jace wiped away her tears, "There's no need to cry, there's still going to be many more nights such as this." They hugged for a bit, Annalyn sobbing with joy. The champagne was drained quickly, leaving them both exhausted as well as drowsy. "Bed time?" Jace questioned, holding her hand. She confirmed "Bed time," letting out a short gasp as she is picked up, carried into the bedroom.

The next morning was a blur of kisses and hugs as well as a slight headache for both. The night prior had been crazy and fun alike, leaving them in absolute awe. Annalyn snuggled up to Jace, receiving a kisses moving slowly down her face, starting at her forehead, going down to both cheeks, then the lips and finally her neck.  He grumbled slightly whilst saying, "It's about time to head back now, the food is starting to run out and a storm is brewing, give it a few days and the sea will be bouncier than a trampoline. Ugh my puns are bad. One last night and we'll go, alright? Also, I have an idea for what we can do today," he winked at her. She pondered for a second at what the idea could have possibly been, knowing she wouldn't manage to get a straight answer from him even if she did ask, "Alright then, I'll start breakfast and you can set up your idea, and if you're planning for some kinky fun, no," she slipped out of bed, simply dressed in shorts and one of Jace's t-shirts. She didn't have much time to actually pack up items before boarding the boat, the invitation had been so sudden and the idea of spending some alone time with him completely clouded over her mind. From the room moaning could be heard, "Well then, there goes my idea." He laughed as he got up, walking outside to fetch the equipment they will be using; two long fishing rods, neither with a motor yet simply a fishing line on a 3 meter long pole. Setting up was quick and easy, he added some bait to the ends of both the lines, keeping the entire things out of sight until after breakfast.

Breakfast itself was a blast, cornbread spread with multiple different jams including: orange, strawberry, apple and many more. Beside it was syrup engulfed waffles and finally home-made smoothies. Eating all of this wasn't much of a trouble either, both the lovers digging in as soon as they sat down, occasionally asking each other small questions such as what they would like to do when they go back home or when the marriage was going to be.

"Well then, I think it's time for my little idea. What is your opinion on fishing?" He raised an eyebrow at her, waiting for her response. She replied, "I haven't ever actually given it much thought but it does sound quite fun." Jace stood up, walking to where he has stashed the fishing rods. They felt light in his hand as he returned, "I once said to myself I'd never fish again because I caught the biggest and best thing I'd ever catch, one I'd cherish forever; you. But I felt selfish keeping such a fun activity from you, especially whilst we're out here, so I thought why not? It'll be a fun experience for us both." He offered her one of the rods, watching as she took it. She shook her head slightly, "Just like the champagne bottle, I don't know how to fish, I would end up failing." He laughed, much like previously, "I'll guide you as I did with the champagne bottle, it is a simple concept, you'll pick it up fast, I promise." She yelps slightly as the fishing line spins around her, finally making out the words, "Okay, can you help me untie myself?" By now the line wrapped around her body, intertwining with itself and locking on. Jace sighed as he undid it, bringing it around her body. He started, "Alright then, bring the rod to your side then smoothly back in the direction you're going to be casting it, in our case straight off the side," she did so. "Now watch that circle thing on the line, it's called a bobber. When the red line goes under and you can pull a tugging, tell me. I'm going to go and grab a bucket to put the fish into." She nodded her head to signify her understand, her eyes focused on the bobber. Meanwhile Jace ran inside, looking through various places to find his 'fishing bucket'; a big bucket he has for the sole purpose of putting fish he caught in. Finding it took some time yet was achieved, a dark steel bucket, slowly corroding with age. He picked it up as he heard Annalyn's cry for help, "Jace! Something is pulling on the line, what do I do now?!" He sped outside, putting it beside them, "Slowly pull the rod up and backwards, we need to get the fish out of the water." As she did that, he tied a small rope on the bucket, throw it in the water before pulling it out, now the bucket full with sea water. He tipped out half of it, placing it lightly beside them just as Annalyn managed to bring the fish out of the water, the line, as well as fish flying towards Jace. He yelped slightly, bringing his hands forward to catch it mid-air and slip it off the hook, dropping the fish into the bucket as it splashed around frantically. "That's a good catch," he looked at her, "if you want, we can catch more and eat them later for dinner?" She squealed in delight at the idea, "Yes!" Jace picked up his own fishing rod, handing over to her some bait from a small tin, "We better get catching then, as big as that fish may be, it will not be enough to fully feed us both."

The rest of the fishing went well, another 5 fish being caught, 1 by Annalyn and 4 by Jace, around a dozen barely escaping from either of them, managing to wriggle free from the line as they were pulled up. As he continued to fish, Annalyn split up, putting her rod down and slowly cleaning the fish in the bucket that had died due to lack of oxygen in the water after an hour or not being changed. A small incision at the bottom of each one allowed for the insides to be cleaned, put into a separate tin to be used as bait at a later time. The scales were scrapped off, straight into the bin. Jace said, "Do you fancy a fish barbecue? Last time I had one of those was years back." She said in reply, "Seems like a plan, I'll marinate them and get it ready but you're still cooking," a slight giggle came from her. He gave up on his fishing, packing away both the rods as he set up the charcoal in a built in barbecue pit, watching them burn slowly.
