Chapter 1

                                The Sighting

Hi, my name is Jonathan. I've been in the CSI department long enough to have seen my share of weird things, paranormal even. Flying chairs, carved faces and such.Recently, I was working on a case about a dead family, a Father was laying on the floor, a .44 Remington mounted in his hand and a shell on the floor. He was laying on his back at the time, hands lay out as if to stop the impact. There was a gaping hole in the back of his neck, pieces of flesh twisted outwards, blood on the floor. In the bathroom, there was a small figure wrapped in a blanket, a red stained, azure blanket. On closer view, the head was squashed inwards. Blood slowly dripping off it's small figure. The body was later identified as a baby. That moment, it was impossible to understand, only a form of something which had once lived. There was also another shell on the floor at that moment, someone had shot it in the face. The flesh of it was dented inside, the small eyes rolling on the brain. That was all I needed from there, I ran. I didn't stop to even consider looking back, I ran from the apartment, I ran from my car, I ran from the world. How sick did someone have to be to do such a thing? The baby was obviously thrown around the room before being shot in the face to be put out of its misery. At least that's what the Autopsy said.A couple of weeks after, I was sitting in my living room, crying at the cruelty of the world, I saw a flash of light towards a window of mine, followed by multiple bangs. I proceeded to the window, looking out of the huge glass. From here, I could see that someone had a gun, something big. Blatantly a shotgun. As I ran out of the room, thinking to myself I need to get back into the job, I couldn't quit now, I cocked my small Glock. Nothing to good but the only thing I was allowed to keep in my house. I rolled out of the front-doors, aiming my pistol at whoever it was and shouting, "Put the gun down!" As always, he didn't give in, he launched the gun at me whilst turning and running the other way. Only having time to see the gun, I instantly lost sighting of him. After dodging the huge gun, I tried running, only to trip of the gun of which was laying in my way. Knowing I couldn't catch the person now, I lay there in disappointment. As I got locked up in my self-pity once again, I saw something slowly come towards the body of which was sitting in the corner, multiple shots impaled her in all places, even the wall she had been trapped by was now full of bullets. See I lived in an apartment block literally hidden by an alley way and walls. You'd have to go through an alley way then turn right into a one way path blocked out by a wall and a door to the apartments. The thing coming towards us wasn't walking, nor running, it was floating. God damn floating. It didn't touch the ground just flew straight to the body. It was covered by a robe from the head to toe, if it had anything, that is. Only after staring for extended minutes, I noticed it was slightly see-through, just a touch, but it still was nevertheless. It stuffed it's right arm straight into the body, nothing physically happening. After which it retracted it's arm, something came with it. Seeming like a helpless person, but also see-through. I started whispering, "What are you..."And with that it was gone, without even having time to blink, it had dissipated into nothing, thin air. How could anything have done this and if so, why? How did it know this would happen in this exact spot, how did it float and how was it see-through, the questions were unlimited.

Chapter 2

                                     Flashback

Remember me? I'm Jonathan. In my last log which I said was recently (like 5 years ago) I mentioned the strange, floating figure. Before I go into this main piece, I'll just like to say that I got married in the time period of 5 years and had 3 children. Now to begin, months after I saw the figure I was still locked up, destroyed in my own mind. What I had seen multiple times wasn't only then, but when I was a child. See when I was a child, I was very hardly abused by my family. Canes, belts, even wires were slammed into me in rapid succession, gaping back my flesh and marking me for years in the coming.I also had an imaginary friend. I referred to him as Jacob. Probably because that was the brother I never had. Big, dressed in black, hardly could you notice any of his features. Come to think of it, he always had this glow, my parents could never see him although I always insisted. It's probably because he was the THING I saw before. Come to think of it, IT killed my family. It was another night, I was playing with my newly bought Spider-Man imprinter ball at the age of 7, I was trying to act like a footballer so I decided to kick it as hard I can to a goal (made of two sticks slammed into the grass.) See the thing is that I was playing in such a way that I was facing at the door when I kicked it. As I did, it slammed into the partly open door, bouncing around for seconds before finally crashing into the antique vase my Mum adored, it had a swirling flower pattern, coloured a bright violet, tracing around the vase, the rest a distinctive green coloured leaf. It had cost a fortune to buy and it had caused nights of no food (when my parents wanted something, they wouldn't eat for days.) As the crash came, pieces shattered everywhere, some impaling the door, worst of all, my ball popped. Literally just exploded. It had been my favourite ball yet! Well that's not the worst of it, my parents weren't happy, my Mum was crying at the now ruined vase, trying to pick up the pieces as my Dad gave me the deadly stare, his face was white and his eyes flashed with the rage of a thousand men. Never had I seen him like this before. He ran upstairs quickly, grabbing a hold of the first cable he can (while doing that, dropping my T.V and leaving me with nothing to watch) and running back towards me. In all my attempts to dodge by throwing myself to the ground and from side to side, he got me once across the face, leaving a searing crimson mark. That was all I remembered till I woke up, I had hit my head pretty hard on the ground, leaving me unconscious.Once I finally came back around, it was there, blankly staring at me. The first thing I did was try to scream, not having expected it to come now. My voice seemed to have vanished, as if something ripped my voice-box out of my mere chest and hid it. After moments of screaming but no noise coming, I released a sharp screech, my parents probably hadn't come as to being way to upset at me and thought I was crying at the pain. Jacob neared to me then, touching me softly on my face, although it wasn't physical, it was as if IT was touching my soul, soothing the pain which was once in my face. It searing was still bright, I could clearly see it by looking straight down. Although it looked horrible, I knew I was feeling better. I started explaining to Jacob what had happened, how the ball hit the vase and my Dad hit my face with the wire. That was the last I ever saw of IT... And my parents.Moments later, I heard screaming down-stairs. I launched myself up from my bead and ran down, looking for my family. All I saw was my parents limp bodies. My Mums leg was now disconnected, the bone ripping straight out of the flesh, a white bone, the tip of it covered in blood. Her eyes had been ripped out, it was obvious. The eyeballs were still hanging slightly from the small amount of flesh which lasted, the left eye was cut through half of the way, the other seemed to be bitten, literally it had a bite mark and was also missing it's piece. Her head crashed inwards as if something punched her other and other again, denting the thick bone inwards. That was the front view, from the back her whole skull was missing, her brain still pumping the last litres of blood. Then there was my dad. If you thought my Mum was gruesomely killed, then read this. He was just laying there, his hands still outwards as if he wasn't dead. They were stuck like that, the bones of the joints ripped into the ground by force. There was this other long object. Longer then a rope, thicker than a cable. Some sort of metallic rod. It was now imprinted with blood. As I has looked at my Father, I wobbled up to him, crying that I forgave him for everything he had every done to me and my Mum (yes he abused my Mum) I hugged his dead body. His death was by extreme pain and blood lose, he was still bleeding while I hugged him. His clothes were all ragged and ripped, same as his body and flesh. There were deep cuts in his body, his legs severed off from the joint to the waist, his head slice clean off, hanging from the light, which actually changed everything to a dark, crimson red. Blood was still dripping, slowly washing me in the blood of my Dad. His body also had one more deep cut, this went straight to the heart, cutting off the arteries and there was a small lump in the middle of his dead body, it was still beating whilst not connected to anything, it's last beats.I was later found by the neighbours once they had come to ask how we were doing and if we were fine, you know, for a cup of coffee. (I was always depressed as a child and through my teen life.) They simply saw me in the middle of the room as they kicked the door open, crying my eyes out as I hugged my Father's dead body. They had called the police and ambulance. They gave me a home and saved me from the foster homes. The 2 families were close together throughout their lives. The police would have arrested me there and probably put me into a mental institution but they knew no one could've done that, especially at my age. It took 3 men to pull my Dad's bones out of the ground that day.I just knew, they died because of me, and I never told anybody, nor will I.

Chapter 3

                            The Nearing Storm

Now let's forget about the past and come closer to the time of which we are in now. Let's say 2-3 years ago. I had met her then, her name was Jessica, tall, azure eyes, flowing blonde hair, she had it all. I couldn't stay away from her. I was metal and she was a magnet. Weeks after meeting her I had to courage to ask her out for a date, fortunately she said yes. That night, I couldn't believe her, she was an angel. Dressed in a silken black dress, medium sized pearly earrings, a necklace with a J on it, a ring and long black heels. The ring caught me off guard, it was on her left hand on her ring finger. That was it for me, I thought of breaking down and crying, noticing I would never have her. Having invited her here, I had to spend the night in what seemed like a living hell at the time. So we met up and sat at a table, saying our "Hi, how are you?" and such on, having a good time as I finally built up the courage to ask, "Nice ring, where'd you get it?" Her hand had traced to the ring, stroking the simple design of a rose."My brother gifted it to me, he passed away so now I cherish it with all my heart."I was so relieved, the eternal flame in my heart withered away at the words of which this angel had said. With that, I continued the night fully happy, fully lost in love. Until It came.Out of nowhere, IT appeared, hovering slightly off the ground, coming towards our table. It was as if no-one saw IT. My eyes grew large as Jacob hovered slowly behind Jessica. I hadn't seen him since that last murder outside my house, this had shocked me far more than anyone could imagine. As Jacob looked down at the love of my life, something felt as if it were tugging at my brain. At the moment, a sharp, electric like pulse ran through my head, my sight blurring into darkness, in that darkness appeared Jacob, this time in white, coming towards me, in my head "She's going to die." It repeated itself over and over again. Getting louder and louder till IT speeded into my face, forcing me to open my eyes in pure shock and sweat. "I need to go to the bathroom quickly." I excused myself in such the way, running to the toilets.Jacob was now there, looking at me through the mirrors, this time I could see IT's eyes, red, bloodshot, scarred. Jacob's other features were hidden behind the shadows of his hood. "She's going to die." Came the voice again, crooked and deep in my head. I slammed my right fist into the mirror, shards impaling my thin flesh, causing me to bleed gently. I tugged my hand back, slipping the glass out and washing away the blood, walking back to the table. He was there. Again behind her, as I sat down, he entered her. Literally went inside her body. Her sweet, delicate voice came out crooked and low, like Jacob's, "She's going to die." And from that, her body fell forward, slamming her head against the wooden table, the table slightly breaking and a sickening CRACK going throughout the room. That's all I remembered from the shock and speed of the moment. We had called an ambulance and told them she fainted, not knowing if IT was inside her, I stayed at a distance in the hospital. She had woken up safe and the doctors had said there was no internal bleeding nor any damage. It was that moment in which I found out she was still possessed, as I went next to her to ask if she wants anything, she kissed me and whispered into my ear.She whispered, "She's mine now."

Chapter 4

                                       The Final Straw

Until this day, I've felt sorry for myself, falling in love with people only to know something was after them, seeing crazy deaths, even my parents. But I always tried to stay put throughout all of it, I even married Jessica to protect her from IT; by never leaving her side. But I knew he was getting to me and her, and to our children. They wouldn't sleep at night and would simply cry, I haven't seen them smile since they were born. It was another normal day, I came back from the coffee shop (my new workplace, ever since the thing I left the CIA and gone into a normal life which wouldn't risk my life.) As I entered the house, I didn't smell the sweet smell of Jessica's food, I didn't feel the warmth of the family and couldn't taste the flow of love. I got scared, at that very moment I thought IT got them, Jacob promised me he would, I ran into the living room, not spotting my children at their toys, I shouted out their names, "John? Jeremy?" I ran about the house, looking for them, after no progress, I looked for Jessica, I phoned her, just to be put down. I went into the bedroom, sitting down as painful tears streamed down my eyes, I looked around the room, everything was gone, I noticed our wedding ring on the table. After fetching it up, I looked down at it, stroking it. After what seemed like the rest of my life, I looked up, the whole room was dark, the sun set a few hours back. I got up, slipping on the light. As I looked back at the bed, I saw IT. Simply floating there, staring at me in pity. "I swear to God I will kill you!" I launched myself at him, flying right through him and into the wall, my left arm dislocating from the mere force of which I rammed in. Although the pain flowed through me, the adrenaline was more powerful. I got up again, "Why, why did you do all of this, what are you, WHAT DO YOU WANT FRO-" I wasn't allowed to finish. A strange force slammed me into the wall, just to retract me from it and repeat it's process over and over again until I was knocked out. I woke up with an excruciating pain all throughout my body, I screamed out, swearing and cursing for the next couple of days, I knew this was it, this was the Final Straw, I will kill him, or die trying and take him with me, one way. Or another.

Chapter 5

                                           Enlightenment

Thinking back to it now, I couldn't kill him with brute force, no one could, he was faded out into another dimensional pocket. I needed to do something about it, I decided my past may be the only answer I could find for this situation. As I viciously rummaged through the old family albums and stories my Father used to write, I found this one peculiar, out-standing envelope. It had my name wrote on it with an elegant, swirly hand-writing. The envelope was tinted a soft cream colour, the outer lining plastered with a gold coloured fabric. Whoever wrote this, or even made this, must have been serious, my parents never showed me this before and well, I guess they never could because of what Jacob did to them. I slowly slipped the envelope open, peering into what seemed like a void, simply finding nothing but darkness. That was what I assumed, as I stood there, envelope in hand, staring into it, something crazy happened. The void literally seeped out of the envelope, trailing into my mouth as if a smoke would, following this elegant curls of which were also written on the paper. Moments later, I found myself at the hospital. I looked around, flabbergasted. I knew this hospital. I was born here, and for some reason, I was in the C section. As I looked around, I heard tears and screams of pain. I slowly gapped a door, only ajar as my Mother's eyes ripped through me, the force breaking me apart. She was giving birth, not to me but something else. It wasn't alive though, disfigured ever so much, white as parchment and a small trail of blood running from its eyes. It was stillborn but this couldn't be like that, it was something else. That baby was a monster yet so innocent. What had my family mixed in before me. At that moment, I fell through the ground and into darkness, only to slam my arm into another floor, a crack being felt but no noise. It was simply muffled out by a soft poof. I looked around again, the pain sizzling throughout my body. I was in an alley way, it was dark and eye could not see eye. As I felt my way around, I ended up having to stop, not because I couldn't walk, something really strong was holding me back. I looked up from the floor, in front of me a pentagram drawn on the floor, crimson-red and my parents in the middle. People dressed in black were chanting around them, the words each sounded like a mumble at first, then they became understandable, "When Fire is Moisture and Water is Ablaze, when Darkness Shines and when Light Fades, Will this couple a Child of Death, Will this couple a Child of Fear." Was all I managed the de-cipher, I have no idea how, I just knew what they were saying. Whatever it was, it spoke of 2 children. Me and who? Was that the other child? The one which was stillborn... A child of Death they spoke. He must of died from this cursing or whatever it was, but what of me? Was I some sort of Fear Monster? It could explain the terrified looks people gave when they saw me, why I could see this other thing which seemed to take lives, which granted them full Death. Unless this was the second Child, the one of Death, grown up at an unknown rate, harnessed his powers over humanity to take Life after Death, growing in power every day for the past god knows how many years. He was older than me, that was obvious, but would I become like him sooner or later? Would I go around scaring people till they died so that IT could take them? My fate was unknown for now, I'd have to wait and see what would happen next, all I knew was that I had the power to destroy him... And I knew, that I will.

Chapter 6

                                    Forever Alone

The thing about fear is that you know everyone's fear and the futures. Ever since I started practising dark magic, I found out that I could change forms at will, every time I did, I turned into a shade of red, more deadly each time. I noticed through experiments that that's how I viewed myself, I seemed to be everyone's worst nightmare. By the time I finish writing this, he'll be here, for greater or worst, I don't know the ending, all I know this will be the finishing strike. IT would appear out of nowhere, simply floating from the roof and down to my small, empty room. As IT neared to me, not knowing of what I was about to do, I flipped around my chair, changing into my Fear Form, raising my hand at Jacob and releasing a huge blast of infra-red energy, the force so powerful that it would destroy the wall of my house. The whole bust of which I would think should destroy him, simple damaged him, a hole producing from his stomach and spreading slowly. Moments later, it would consume him. Jacob simply re-appeared out of thin air to drop towards my face, his hand glowing a soft grey. I simply side-stepped, grabbing him and re-locating us both away, ripping our molecular structure apart and reforming them in an abandoned theme park, giving us both space. As I started to charge up my powers for my final attacks, I went into my fully transformed self, feeling the power coursing through my veins, I could only be described as an anthropomorphic-Armageddon. Cracks of lava leaking from my now soot covered chest, my hands also leaking molten magma, my hair flaming upward, powered by the electricity now also inside of me. I aimed up my hands to Jacob, releasing the concentrated electric which had been covered by layers of magma. At the same time, I focused on solidifying my Aura. This would give me a hardened defence and possibly another cause of actions. IT got hit by the blast, throwing Jacob back and into the carcass of a Roller Coaster. The huge structure falling down onto the being. Finally hoping that he had died, I slowly sneaked to the rubble, looking down at what seemed like the death of anything, even Death itself. The pieces all launched back up without warning, slamming into my Aura, only to crackle it in places but Jacob had enough, launching himself at me with all force that he possibly could. Parts of my Aura exploded off, only to stay in a weak orbit around my form. Knowing I didn't have much chance, I made the rest of the Aura explode outwards, penetrating Jacob, not giving him a chance to react because of how close IT was. Roughly a second later, the shards retracting towards me, all of them refocusing to Jacob. This time, they entered IT and stayed there. The Aura had been modified to effect the soul and straight to the soul they were in. Each slowly sucking out the life-force of which IT used to have. I retreated slowly, the shards exploding after they hit their limits. This only enraged IT, Jacob's powers were now weakened but not gone, nor was IT. I lifted my arms up for the last blow, so did he. As I shot my crimson-red beam of concentrated beam, it dripped out more of my Aura, literally getting a secondary blast of power. Magma also dripping as electricity coursed through it. Before contacting with Jacob, he released hi blast, plain and black, the beam emitted death and pain on itself, the cries of people not wanting to let go and the pain of those who lost all fitted into one thick stream of which was aimed into mine. Our powers weakened as they were only being combined in the middle of the battle field, a orbit around it starting from the mass of which he had raised into. It slowly started absorbing everything around it. Even colour. The powerful blast only growing larger and larger until we were drained of everything we had, both of us fell limp, this enormous ball of which sucked in everything except us, we had no mass nor weight. The blast exploded at that moment, the pain of millions hitting us. That's all I managed to see, Jacob'll be here in a second, I guess it's time to say my good-byes. I'm coming Mom and Dad. If not, I'll be back to explain everything in more detail.

Bonus Content

For anyone out there who can read this at any time of any day, what happened is unknown. I am a supernatural disappearance investigator. All we know at the moment is that a force much greater than anything ever seen is taking the life of everything, first by scaring them till they die, then shredding their bodies and draining them from their blood. Whatever this is, we have no hope left. Good-bye to you all. We are all doomed, we have no hope. This power came out of the crater formed the abandoned Roller Coaster site. A strange Grey being ripped itself into our dimension, flying at everyone investigating the area for clues and or bombings. I only managed to get out. We found this computer at the last place of the most suspicious person. I read through his files and have only declared that whatever he did, it's deadly. And now he's coming for us all. If we all die, which we will, then well, say your good-byes and be prepared to die in pain. You will be there, feeling the pain and seeing your past and future which will never happen in the split-second, your blood flowing out in front of you like a lake as you feel the pain of your limb ripping apart, I only barely got away as they were distracted, they kept ripping their form of a blur apart, taking as many people as they can to re-power themselves. If there is anyone, or anything out there to stop them, please do it now, don't let any more lives go to waste, they're coming. I have to go now, good-bye for the last time.
